Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has lifted the five-year ban on Shah Rukh Khan to enter Wankhede Stadium.
Shah Rukh was banned from entering the stadium after a scuffle and heated altercation with a security guard and the MCA officials following a 2012 IPL game in which Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat the Mumbai Indians.
The association had alleged that Shah Rukh tried to force his way on to the grounds after the match, and abused and manhandled the guards. On the other hand, Shah Rukh had said that his children were "manhandled in the name of security" by guards, which had angered him.
